The Privateer Theme for WordPress does not have a static layout.

Instead, it currently ( v 1.3 ) has two available sidebars which can be configured.

At the site level, you can configure which side of the main content area to display each sidebar on. For example, you could:
  • Show one sidebar on each side of the main content
  • Show both sidebars on either side of the main content
  • Show only one sidebar, placing it on either side of the main content
  • Show no sidebars at all

The side to show a sidebar on is configured under sidebars in the html entities submenu of the admin Privateer menu while the ability to show or hide a particular sidebar is configured at the template level...enabling you to show or hide particular sidebars on different types of pages.

You can also specify particular wordpress post and page objects where either sidebar should be hidden even if it would normally be displayed ( maybe you want to turn sidebars off on a particular post ).
