Hi Privateer Folks,
I'm new here having just downloaded the theme in the last day or so and ready to give it a try.
Hopefully, my questions do not reveal all of my ignorance about WP Themes.
I've up-loaded and installed several different themes for 3 different WP installations so this is not my first acquaintance with WP themes. I have unzipped the download file for 1.7 and have several files including a couple of text flies, two PDF files, and one additional zipped file. I realize this zipped file is where the theme files, etc. are located. However, with prior themes, do not recall there being a second zipped file, but merely a folder of files to upload to WP-Content.
The big question is whether I should up-load the zipped file or to unzip it first. In other words, I would not want to co-mingle its contents with the files I have previously downloaded and are in a folder I've labeled "Privateer." I suspect when un-zipped they will have their own folder but did not know how WP-contents will handle this. To express it another way, does WP-Content have the capacity to unzip files?
I'd appreciate someone providing a little guidance on this.
